HTC One M9 (Hima) Release Date, Specs Rumors: HTC's Next Flagship Smartphone Hima Specs Leaked

Leaks about the next smartphone from HTC have started to emerge and they are proving to be major. They indicate that the company is actively creating a successor to One M8 and it is going to be known by the all new moniker "Hima."
Until now rumors about the next flagship smartphone from HTC had indicated that it would be called the HTC One M9. That name bit the dust when a Twitter account known for leaking credible information about HTC devices came out with the information that the new phone would be called "Hima." The account with the Twitter handle @upleaks sent out a series of Tweets claiming that the Hima would have a 5-inch 1920x1080 pixel display.
This information about the display is different from earlier rumors which pegged it at 5.5 inches with 440 x 2560 pixels. There was also a report about the processor, with @upleaks claiming that the Hima would sport a 64-bit processor as well as the latest Snapdragon 810.
The report said the Snapdragon 810 processor has eight cores, out of which four Cortex-A57 cores operate at 2.0 GHz, while the remaining Cortex-A53 cores operate at a lower speed of 1.5GHz. On the Hima, the processor is rumored to be coupled with an Adreno 430 GPU which will ensure that the apps work faster. It will also reportedly have a 3 GB RAM.
However, it was the inclusion of the Snapdragon 810 processor that grabbed the most attention on gadget websites as this one operates much faster than the Snapdragon 805.
Finally, it is being rumored the Hima will have a 20.7 megapixel camera at the rear and a 13 megapixel camera in front. But there is also a possibility that HTC might opt for a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera in front.
As for the its release date, @upleaks says it could start shipping sometime in March 2015. The tipster also says Hima has already been tested by major US carriers and could soon be available in the U.S. and Asia concurrently.
