HTC 10 Mini release date, specs rumors: Will come with Snapdragon 823 processor?

In an effort to compete with Apple and Samsung, the Taiwanese tech giant, HTC, is apparently joining the trend of going mini on a certain smartphone model with the same power output. According to the latest buzz around the Internet, HTC is currently developing a new HTC 10 Mini and it is slated to roll out in September 2016.
If rumors prove to be true, HTC will definitely give Apple and Samsung a run for their money once the company decides to release it. The speculation started when an Austrian website revealed through their source that HTC is definitely going small on their latest project.
TechnoBuffalo also reported the impressive specs under the hood of the new device and its exterior design. The device is said to come at 4.7 inches in size and run on the always reliable Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. The device will also boast 4 GB of RAM for multitasking. The specs appear to be similar to its bigger brother, the HTC 10, except for its size.
What's interesting is that HTC might go with the Snapdragon 823 processor. This latest chipset from Qualcomm has yet to be released; however, there are speculations that it may debut on the HTC 10 mini. Both Qualcomm and HTC has yet to provide any confirmation with regard to the rumor but fans expect the Taiwanese tech company to announce its new line anytime soon.
According to reports, the company is expected to reveal the HTC 10 next week. However, the hype about the upcoming handset will continue to increase as rumors about its mini version has recently become the subject of many speculations online.
Meanwhile, there are also reports suggesting that Samsung is also going small again with its Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini, which is said to carry a 4.6-inch screen. This would surely provide a stronger hype to the smaller smartphones market.
