'How to Get Away with Murder' season 3 spoilers: Laurel's dad revealed; Bonnie, Oliver survive finale

The latest episode of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 finally introduced Laurel's (Karla Souza) super rich father and revealed that it was neither Bonnie (Liza Weil) nor Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) whom Annalise (Viola Davis) saw dead in the flash-forward.
In "Always Bet Black," Laurel had to resort to seeking help from her estranged father to find the missing Frank (Charlie Weber). Mr. Castillo, who runs a multi-billion dollar telecommunications company, apparently had the resources to locate Laurel's ex.
As if reconnecting with her cold-hearted father wasn't bad enough, Laurel also basically signed her life away. Mr. Castillo insisted that in exchange for locating Frank, Laurel had to allow him to use her name in his new business venture.
In an interview with Variety, Souza explained why Laurel chose to sign the paperwork, saying that it wasn't so much about her love for Frank as it was her being "desperate and loyal." Aside from this, she just really wanted to find Frank.
"She's taking matters into her own hands," the actress said. "The addiction that she has with Frank is that desperation and that need to give into being blackmailed by the one person that she hates the most, which is her father," she added.
Souza also revealed that Mr. Castillo will definitely be present throughout the rest of the season. "The character of my father is present, whether he's mentioned or present through flashbacks," she said.
Meanwhile, it was Bonnie's and Oliver's turn to be crossed off the list of potential victims in the flash-forward seen in the season 3 premiere.
In the final moments of "Always Bet Black," viewers found that both Bonnie and Oliver were still alive during the house fire. However, they also learned that apart from the dead person being taken out of the house, there was another victim — a living one — in the scene.
Weil spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the upcoming reveal, saying, "It's pretty dark. It's going to hit a lot closer to home."
"One of us is going to die, and it's going to be very heartbreaking and shocking. And it's not going to be what people expect," she said.
"How to Get Away with Murder" airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on ABC.
