'How To Get Away With Murder' Recap: Does Sam Deserve To Die?
Rebecca Sutter (played by Katie Findlay) confessed to murdering Sam in last week's episode of "How to Get Away with Murder." The legal drama mystery series airs every Thursday at10/9c on ABC.

Episode 7's title "He Deserved to Die" was actually the words uttered by Rebecca in the flash forward after the team finds her covered with blood. Wes (Alfred Enoch) takes Rebecca upstairs and helps her clean up. Here Rebecca tells Wes that Sam "wanted to kill me. I had to kill him or he would have killed me so when I saw the trophy I used it to hit him in the head.
She also adds in a matter of fact manner that "he deserved to die, and I'm glad he's dead."
With these words, Rebecca appears to confess to murdering Sam.
But viewers aren't taking it as a truthful confession as she has a tendency to lie to cover up what really happened.
Nate (Billy Brown) later confronts Rebecca in a store and tells her that "I know you didn't kill Lila Stangard (Lenny Platt), we both know who did so help me catch him."
The rest of the episode saw more problems around the trial and Lila's body being exhumed for a second autopsy. Annalise (Viola Davis) tries to stop this from happening and also gets a gag order to stop the team defending Griffin (Lenny Platt) from spreading lies about Rebecca. However, she asks Rebecca to state that Griffin raped her to stop the Griffin's team from striking a deal with the prosecutor.
While this stalls the deal, the judge goes ahead and orders the second autopsy of Lila's body. Bonnie (Liza Weil) then informs Annalise that Lila was six weeks' pregnant and that this was discovered during the second autopsy, which could mean that Sam was the father.
