Houston Rockets trade rumors: Veteran guard will not be re-signed
Just as most free agents are hoping for new deals this season, one NBA veteran has revealed that he will not be given a new contract with the last team he played for.
Seventeen-year veteran Jason Terry is reportedly looking for a new team after it was reported that Houston Rockets have no plans of re-signing the guard.
According to Ecumenical News, Terry is now out of an NBA team as the Rockets are eyeing other veteran players in the roster.

The report claims that the Rockets have 13 players signed to contracts at the moment, and that will increase to 15 once Pablo Prigioni and Donatas Motiejunas sign their respective deals.
Justine Termine also tweeted the same update on Terry, and many believe that it is a good thing for Terry as he may still have lots to offer other teams.
The move is said to be due to the Rockets now having new guards in tow, with Patrick Beverley still the starting point guard, while Prigioni is going to be the back-up.
Eric Gordon is also headed to Houston and that leaves Terry even further down the pecking order despite already having very limited playing time.
Terry has already played with five different NBA teams, and has won an NBA championship with the Dallas Mavericks back in the 2010-11 season.
Over his career, Terry averages 14.3 points per game, but has not averaged more than 10 points per game in the last three seasons in the NBA.
He is now 38 years old and will still find some playing time with teams looking for veteran presence or with teams looking for a veteran player to mentor young guards who are trying to make it in the league.
There is still no information on the teams looking to get Terry's services, but fans can expect him to find a new home before the new season arrives.
