'House of Cards' season 5 rumors: Release date scheduled on March 2017?

"House of Cards" may have ended recently, but it is never too soon to talk about what's in store for the upcoming season 5. The show is rumored to be back in January 2017, but plot rumors for next season are already making rounds.
As far as spoilers go, there are speculations that Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) will kill LeAnn Harvey (Neve Campbell). He is likely to do this as an effort to end her continuously overpowering his plans. Meanwhile, there is another wrench to Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) bid to presidency in the character of Will Conway (Joel Kinnaman). According to reports, he will appear in some episodes as he tries to cause damage on Frank's career. On the contrary, if Will fails to materialize his plan, Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) is rumored to execute it. She seems like a dangerous opponent for Frank because as his wife, she knows a lot more about him and his weaknesses.
Unfortunately for the fans, there are rumors that season 5 will possibly mark the end of the series. Executive producer Beau Willimon has already bowed out from the show, where he previously said: "After five years and four seasons, it's time for me to move on to new endeavors.... and leave it in the hands of a very capable team." Viewers believe his departure as a very huge loss given that he greatly contributed to the series' success. Further supporting the rumor is the idea that the TV adaptation of Michael Hobbs' novel has already touched on all major story arcs. This means that the series will need to make its own new storyline if it were to push through more seasons in the future.
Netflix has yet to confirm an official premiere date for "House of Cards," but based on the previous seasons, it is speculated to be back sometime in March 2017.
