'House of Cards' season 5 expected to be filed with revelations

The top-rating political thriller series "House of Cards" may have ended with a cliffhanger in its season 4 finale, but rumor has it that it will return to TV around March 2017.
Produced by Media Rights Capital, the premiere of "House of Cards" in 2013 was the catalyst for Netflix's fast rise in the TV industry. Originating from a British miniseries under the same name, the show was adapted by director David Fincher and playwright Beau Wilimon. The story revolves around a "scheming politician and his hunt for power." Netflix ordered two series from MRC right off the bat, suggesting the company's "intention to play in TV's big leagues," as reported by Variety.
In the recently concluded season 4, Frank Underwood suffered a severe injury which required him to undergo a liver transplant surgery. His life expectancy has long been debated by the series' critics. This led to viewers questioning if he really dies once his body rejected the organ transplant. How will Claire handle the positon of being the President? It is definitely too early to say, but The Hollywood Reporter gave a prediction for the romance between Claire and Yates, and how it will affect Frank personally.
Frank may have given his blessing for Yates and Claire's affair, but the question is how long will it last? A major conflict may arise given that it can turn out into two scenarios. One would be if Frank finds a "companion" of his own, distracting him from his wife's relationship with another man. Another scenario would be Frank completely eliminating Yates from their lives. The latter is more plausible, especially if Yates becomes a problem for the Underwood family. Either way, both are not good scenarios so fans should really await how the upcoming season's story will unfold.
While fans are very eager for the next season to arrive, it is specuated to end soon. Romper reports that a season 6 for the series is not yet a done deal.
