After a two-week hiatus, "Homeland" will be back on air on Dec. 7, 2014. A brief synopsis for "Homeland" Season 4, Episode 10, titled "13 Hours in Islamabad," says, "the security breach at the Embassy has far reaching consequences."

In the previous episode, titled "There's Something Else Going On," the CIA team including Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) had to gather at the Islamabad airport to meet Haissam Haqqani (Numan Acar), a known Taliban terrorist, and his team. They were there to exchange five of the terrorists' men for Saul.

At the end of Episode 9, Carrie and Saul appeared to have "died" after an explosion on their convoy right after the exchange of prisoners. The explosion showed no signs of survivors.

Earlier this month, however, a photo in the New York Daily News showed Carrie and Saul in a gunfight scene. In the image, both of them had head wounds while surrounded by what seemed to be the wreckage that very closely resembled the aftermath of the explosion that hit the convoy during the last episode. Therefore, it could be assumed that Carrie and Saul are still alive.

Episode 10's synopsis, which mentioned about "far-reaching consequences," could indicate another death this season. Rumor has it that the production was seen shooting a funeral scene. Unfortunately for the fans and the CIA, the funeral will not be for the Taliban terrorist Haqqani, whose image was seen in Episode 11. At least not yet.

However, nothing is sure until we see the next episode of "Homeland" Season 4. Whether or not Saul and Carrie survived, we still have to find out when "Homeland" airs on Sunday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
