The family of a missing Tennessee girl whose remains were recently found near her home has asked for their community to continue to pray for answers to their daughter's mysterious death.

The remains of Holly Bobo, who was allegedly abducted near her home in Parsons, Tennessee back in 2011, were discovered by hunters over the weekend in the nearby area of Decatur County. Investigators with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are now looking in to how the remains could have been overlooked when search teams had already scoured the area where Bobo's body was found.

A spokesperson for the Bobo family released a statement Tuesday saying the family will "continue to pray that someone will have the courage to step forward and shed more light on this senseless tragedy."

Bobo reportedly disappeared at the age of 20 on April 13, 2011 near her home in Parsons. The young woman's brother reported seeing his sister being led into the woods by a man wearing camouflage who at the time he had mistakened as Holly's boyfriend. Two suspects, Zachary Adams and Jason Autry, have been arrested and charged with murder and kidnapping in relation to Bobo's death. The two men have pled not guilty.

Bobo's remains were reportedly found near the property owned by Zachary Adams' family in Decatur County, although they had not been discovered during previous search attempts.

Two other men, Jeffrey Kurt Pearcy and Mark Pearcy, were also charged with accessory after the fact and tampering with evidence relating to Bobo's disappearance and death.

"We've lost a precious daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend," family attorney Steve Farese said at a news conference Tuesday. "However, those responsible have lost their souls. Holly's soul is the one thing that their brutality could not diminish or extinguish."
