'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 spoilers news: Team hunts down new serial killer; New promo reveals heart-stopping chase sequence

"Hawaii Five-0" is just three weeks away from its season 7 premiere, and fans will soon see The Aloha State's finest back in action.
In the premiere episode of season 7, McGarrett is all set to go back to work after his life-threatening surgery back in the season 6 finale. A new murderer is on the loose, but will the team catch him before he kills again? According to CBS, the season premiere will see the former Navy SEAL as he refuses Danny's (Scott Caan) pleas to take it easy. He is still recovering from his past injuries but a new case forces him to get up and join the team.
A body of a serial killer was left in the Five-0 headquarters and they will discover an ivory chess piece in his mouth. Things will become more alarming when a second killer is found dead with another chess piece stuck in his mouth. The team is pressured to find the vigilante as fear grows that traveling to Hawaii is no longer safe. Also, McGarrett will find comfort in spending some time with a person who has a special connection to the team. Recurring characters who will appear in the premiere include Rosalind Chao as Governor Keiko Mahoe and Claire Forlani as retired criminal profiler Alicia Brown.
Meanwhile, a new promo has been released for season 7 which hints yet another crazy and action-packed chase. The 31-second clip teases that there will be no rest for the characters until they catch the perpetrator. Although it may not be safe for McGarrett to return to the field, he will accompany the team as they find themselves in the midst of one of the most intense and heart-stopping chase sequences this season.
