'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 spoilers: EP hints character to get married; Sarah Carter confirmed to reprise guest starring role in 150th episode

The Aloha State's finest will soon return to the small screen, and one character will be tying the knot when "Hawaii Five-0" season 7 premieres next month.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, executive producer Peter Lenkov shared a major teaser about the upcoming season. "There's going to be a surprise wedding, but I can't tell you who it is," he confirmed. "One of the characters gets married." It's still too early to tell, but there are speculations that it could be Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Abby (Julie Benz).
Season 6 left off with the death of villain Gabriel (Christopher Sean) and Chin finally meeting his niece/Gabriel's daughter Sara. This leaves Chin as Sara's last living relative who could be her guardian. Will he fight for adoption? Lenkov previously teased that Chin's possible fatherhood will be a big story arc next season and it remains to be seen if he will decide to propose to Abby while dealing with this new complication. If one thing is for certain, the couple will still be living under one roof when season 7 returns.
Meanwhile, actress Sarah Carter will be reprising her role as Lynn Downey for the show's 150th episode. As noted by TV Line, the "Falling Skies" alum will be joining other guest stars Christine Lahti (who portrays Doris McGarrett) and Michelle Borth (who portrays Catherine Rollins) — which means three ladies from Steve McGarrett's (Alex O'Loughlin) past and present will all appear in the much-awaited milestone hour.
Carter's first appearance in the series was back in season 6 episode 7. Lynn and Steve's first date unexpectedly became an island adventure, but their relationship did not last long. She came back last February for the show's Valentine's Day-themed episode, which featured Lynn discovering the ring Steve was planning to propose to Catherine with.
"Hawaii Five-0" season 7 premieres on Friday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on CBS.
