"Halo 5: Guardians" DLC update: "Ghosts of Meridian" DLC will be released in April

It was announced by 343 Industries that "Halo 5: Guardians" will have a new DLC coming this year. Fans were excited as they wait for further details from the company. Unfortunately, the roll out of the upcoming DLC, which will be titled "Ghosts of Meridian," will be pushed back to a later date.
The expansion was scheduled to come out this March; however, the company decided to release it in April instead. According to 343's announcement, the company will make it up to the fans by providing sneak peeks until the DLC gets released.
"Typically, we've released out new content in the middle or end of each month, and this one misses that by just a few days, but the terrifying psychological effect of missing that exact monthly cadence cannot be denied!," the company explained through HaloWaypoint.
The upcoming DLC is expected to bring new content to the already exciting game. New weapons, new skins, armors, helmets, vehicles, assassinations and emblems are just some of the features that will be included in the "Ghosts of Meridian." The expansion is also expected to bring in new Warzone map, which is Skirmish at Darkstar.
Images of the new map have already been provided by senior concept artist Josh Kao, who further explained what the new map is all about.
Skirmish at Darkstar is said to be located in another planet of Meridian. Kao explained that the inspiration of the map is the colonial reclamation, which features new routes, cover pieces and sightlines.
"I also wanted to capture the mood of what a mining planet would feel like, with the sunlight peeing through its heavily polluted atmosphere," Kao said.
For now, what fans can do is to wait for "Ghosts of Meridian" to be rolled out by 343 Industries.
"Halo 5: Guardians" is available on Xbox One.
