'Halo 5: Guardians' DLC news: Latest update coming soon

The first-person shooter game "Halo 5: Guardians," developed and launched by 343 Industries in 2015, is expected to soon release "Anvil's Legacy," the ninth downloadable content (DLC).
The latest Halo Waypoint post revealed that the upcoming DLC will include the "Halo 5 Content Browser," which will let players on both platforms discover incredible community-created content with new file options, linked screenshots and prefabs among others. The video game developer also revealed that they will be adding new objects and features to the world of Forge.
According to the game's creator, "Halo 5: Guardians" will feature new places and a new requisition (REQ) system that players can use to wreak havoc. The REQ system rewards players for playing in multiplayer modes in "Halo 5." REQ points are earned after Arena and Warzone matches. Players can then use the points to purchase REQ packs which contain items such as weapons, armors, vehicles and much more. The REQ system will be an effective way to destroy the opposition.
The latest "Halo 5: Guardians" Xbox One update was released in June, wherein the video game developer added a big Warzone Firefight mode. This combined Warzone from "Halo 5" and the Firefight mode from "Halo 3." The update also contained a Score Attack feature. Sources say that this new feature will be a new way to play "Halo 5: Guardians."
According to Microsoft, the first to launch will be the forge tool for "Halo 5: Guardians." It will be available for Windows 10 on Sept. 8. The tool will allow players to build, share, and play new levels, maps and experiences on Windows 10 and the Xbox One. Anvil's Legacy, the ninth free DLC, will launch on Xbox One consoles on the same date.
Microsoft shared that more information about "Halo 5: Guardians" will be announced in the weeks to come.
