Was "Guardians of the "Galaxy" a Marvel version of "Star Wars"? A new so-called "Honest Trailer" by Screen Junkies that parodies this summer's hit movie seems to say so.

The trailer went viral online as it compared "Guardians of the Galaxy" to the "Avengers" with a "Star Wars" setting. The Screen Junkies' production also claimed that Marvel takes its audience for granted knowing they will watch anything that it creates.

The trailer went online just as the DVD for the film was about to be released. It made fun of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" characters, drawing parallels between Star Lord (Chris Pratt) and Captain America in "Avengers." It teamed up Rocket Racoon and Tony Stark since both have a fondness for liquor.

Elsewhere and on a more serious note, Al Pacino sparked rumors that he could be part of the cast in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" sequel which is scheduled for release in 2017.

Pacino claimed that he had a meeting with the head of Marvel Kevin Feige since he was allegedly being considered for a role in one of Marvel's upcoming movies. However, he did not provide any details about a specific Marvel film. Instead he mentioned that he had taken his kids to see "Guardians of the Galaxy," adding that they loved it.

This led many to assume that that famed actor could join the cast in the sequel. Pacino then tried to dampen the rumors about his involvement, saying he was just appreciating the film but was "not necessarily going to be in it."

As for the sequel, work on the film is progressing. Director James Gunn has hinted that there could be a crossover with "Avengers" with characters from the superhero movie appearing in future "Guardians of the Galaxy" films.
