Online Heists arrived for GTA 5 last Tuesday. This is the multiplayer mode that allows cooperation among players. Rockstar, the developer of the game, announced the arrival of Online Heists to several consoles including the PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

With the launch of Online Heists came a number of technical issues raised by many gamers who could not connect to the servers.

The technical issues were quite widespread, prompting the support team at Rockstar to announce in the company's Twitter account that it is working hard to allow gamers to have access to the servers. Following complaints from users of PS3 and PS4 consoles, Rockstar took its servers offline for maintenance. Several hours later, the game developer announced on its support page that the multiplayer version was now running normally.

Subsequently those who logged in to try out heists were able to run missions. CinemaBlend noted, however, that the real test for the game will come when more people log in after they come back from work or school.

Online Heists also brought with it a number of bugs, with one bug causing a change in the gender of some of the characters. Rockstar subsequently released steps to return characters to their original gender.

As for the cool new vehicles that came along with Online Heists, they include the Hydra, which is a jet capable of vertically taking off and landing. Also added to Heists is the Valkyrie combat helicopter, which features two guns that can be fired by the passenger in addition to a primary cannon in front.

To get the Hydra, gamers will have to play the third job titled "EMP job," which is included in "The Humane Labs Raid" heist. This particular heist is the third in the five included. The Hyrda will become available for purchase once the job is done successfully. Valkyrie is also available in the same heist and it is tied to the fourth job titled "Valkyrie job."
