"Grand Theft Auto 5 Online" allows players to buy and sell properties as a possible form of investment. Here is a roundup of guides and tips to make the most out of every in-game sale and purchase.

One of the earliest investment that a player can use his or her virtual money in the game is purchasing an apartment, a house or even just a garage. That way, funds can either grow in time for the property to be put back in the market just like in real life. In the game, each player is only limited to owning three properties at a time. A case of right timing as to when to buy or sell a property is crucial to keep someone's assets continuously growing or when funds are direly needed.

First off, to buy a property, one's smartphone is needed to choose a web key which is the wireframe sphere in white in a blue background. From there, the player may click on "Dynasty 8" situated in the lower left-side corner of the website. After that, a list of property listings will be pulled up giving the player all his/her options in terms of personal preferences, aesthetics and of course budget. Choosing can be made easier with the use of various filters available.

Once a player has already filled out his/her three allowed slots for properties in "Grand Theft Auto Online 5," he/she can finally enter the business of buying or selling. Whether for investment purposes or just for the knack of having a new estate, selling one of his/her own is also fairly easy. It is important to note, however, that before getting on with the selling, a fourth property or a replacement acquisition should already be chosen as one cannot sell a house without a new one taking over the vacant spot. Once that is settled, the player should just access the same website, pick the new estate to buy and then go pick the one to put on sale. Unfortunately, as of now, there is still no way to just directly sell properties, which frankly could be frustrating for some players.
