Nature exacts revenge on environmental violators on the upcoming episode of NBC's supernatural drama "Grimm" season 6.

Titled "Tree People," this week's episode centers on a tree-like monster. According to the official synopsis, Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby), and Wu (Reggie Lee) respond to a crime scene where a man claims that his friend was eaten by a strange creature that resembles a tree.

Meanwhile, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) embarks on a quest to learn the meaning behind Diana's (guest star Hannah R. Loyd) drawing. Also, the gang must take extra precautions when they discover Eve's (Bitsie Tulloch) unsettling mirror encounter.

NBC has released a new promo clip for the episode, and it gives a short glimpse of the monster of the week. While not a lot of details about the story were revealed, the video shows tree roots attacking innocent civilians. It's unclear how the tree people came into existence or where they actually came from.

As for Eve's situation, spoiler reports note that her disturbing encounter in episode 8 will carry over to this week's hour and beyond. The mirror incident is speculated to become a huge part of the show as the story moves forward.

With only a few episodes left this season, "Grimm" is slowly inching closer to its series finale. Tulloch recently caught up with Yahoo to talk about the final half of the series, and she talked about the people she'll miss the most when the program officially wraps.

"I'm going to miss the crew and the cast. The nice thing about being on location is getting to know these people so well," she shared. "Six years is a long time," Tulloch added.

The actress also spoke about her favorite episode this season, which is slated to air next month. "There are these Neanderthal people," Tulloch continued. "The sets were incredible, and for my character's journey, a lot happens for Eve in this episode," she went on to say.

The sixth and final season of "Grimm" airs every Friday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
