'Grey's Anatomy' season 13 spoilers, plot news: Jesse Williams talks possible 'Japril' reunion, Kevin McKidd hopes brighter future for newlyweds Owen and Amelia

"Grey's Anatomy" is all set to return for its landmark 13th season in the Fall, and surely more drama is up ahead particularly among the couples in the show.
Jackson Avery and his former wife April Kepner are two of the characters who most fans would like to see back together on the show since their dynamic kept fans hopeful for a possible reunion. Actor Jesse Williams recently caught up with TV Line to talk about the likelihood of the ex-lovers giving their relationship another shot, saying:"There's always a chance. But it's day to day with Jackson and April. They can have a very civil, mature conversation one moment, then be at each other's throats [the next], because real life is like that. We carry frustrations and baggage and grudges."
Season 12 saw the two split up just before April found out that she was pregnant with Jackson's child, yet their divorce did not make their relationship any less colorful. In fact, it even made things more interesting between the pair, and fans should look forward to how their story arc will play out in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, the previous season also featured two characters who got married: Owen Hunt and Amelia Shepherd. Their relationship went through a tumultuous path, and now that they are married, Owen's portrayer Kevin McKidd hopes that the newlyweds will have the "happily ever after" they truly deserve. "Owen went through a lot with Christina.," McKidd told Melty at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. "She didn't want to give him a baby, they had a lot of struggles, and then she left essentially. So I think he deserves to be happy, don't you?"
Almost all cast members will be back to reprise their roles, except Sara Ramirez who quit the show when season 12 wrapped up in May.
