A new consultant enters the picture and puts the doctors on edge in the upcoming episode of ABC's long-running medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" season 13.

Titled "Why Try to Change Me Now," next week's episode will see the arrival of a new consultant in the hospital. According to the official synopsis for episode 7, her presence puts all of the doctors will on edge, particularly when she begins stepping toes in the operating room. Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) bring their personal conflicts into the hospital, while April (Sarah Drew) decides to explore uncharted territory.

In the previous episode, Amelia decided to take a break from trying to have a baby with Owen. The new Mrs. Hunt also shared a huge revelation to Alex about her son's tragic 43-minute life. Her story surprised viewers, but she still refused to tell her husband and her closest friends about the son she lost. Speaking with TV Line, Scorsone said her moment with Alex changes their relationship as the story moves forward.

"She kind of sees him as someone who might possibly understand her feelings of shame and unlovability,' the actress said. "She knows that, of everyone in the hospital, he's got some demons like she does, and he's been on the periphery. Right now, he's actually on the periphery in terms of being stuck in the clinic and having this court case going on. So he might get her in a way that a lot of the other doctors who are so fantastic and sunshiny might not."

When asked if Amelia will smile sincerely again this season, Scorsone mentioned that she "haven't read that script yet." This could mean that Amelia will face more issues as she continues to keep secrets from the people closest to her.
