Green Bay Packers team news: Packers need to find self to maintain status

The Green Bay Packers have a chance to rest as they have a bye week coming, but they might need to take a look at the changes they are going through so far this season.
Equipped with one of the most complete lineups in the league, the Packers are seeing something peculiar — their running game is winning them games and the passing game is quite behind.
It sounds incorrect, given that they have one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but UPI reported on this and gives major points on how the Packers' game has changed so far this season.
Green Bay may have only played three games so far this season, and things may change later on, but even coach Mike McCarthy has noticed the significant change.
Already in his 11th year with the Packers, McCarthy mentioned: "This is the first time in my career here that our run game is ahead of our pass game."
At the moment, the Packers have an offence that ranks 29th out of 32 in the league of only having 193.3 yards per game.
However, they had signs of improvement in their last game, a 34–27 win over their division rivals the Detroit Lions.
After poor performances in the first two weeks, quarterback Aaron Rodgers bounced back by completing four touchdown passes in the game to give the team a comfortable lead early in the game.
They had to weather a comeback by the Lions later on, but the work they put in the first half was ultimately enough to seal the victory.
This may be good news for the Packers as they have time to work on their game before returning on the ninth of October to face the New York Giants at Lambeau Field.
With a 2–1 record so far which is good for second in the NFC North, things could definitely be worse for the Packers, but they need to find themselves if they want to remain as contenders.
