There is still hope for the "Grand Theft Auto 6" ("GTA 6") video game. Despite the silence of Rockstar Games about the next open world action-adventure title, fans are positive that it's still going to come.

According to reports, "GTA 6" isn't cancelled yet. In fact, rumors are rife that the gaming company is working on exciting features with VR compatibility and it's expected to make its way to store shelves sometime in 2018 or 2020. There's no telling when exactly but it will be worth wait especially since rumors suggest that there will be more new features.

Reports detailed that Rockstar will be bringing in more vehicles in the sixth installment. There may also be a possibility that they will add some other monster trucks. If sources are correct, "GTA 6" could be featuring a female protagonist.

It's also said that gamers will be given more options to purchase a house so that they will no longer be limited to buying only one house anymore. Moreover, "GTA 6" is expected to be packed with new missions, customized main characters and more adventures.

Rockstar may also be exploring new cities and on top of the rumor mill are New York City and Miami. There is also hearsay suggesting that the game will feature the whole U.S. map. This is a bit far-fetched for now since Rockstar has never done that big of a feature before but if they are going to do it, then fans are in for a treat as it would mean that there's so much to explore in "GTA 6."

Currently, there is no explanation as to why Rockstar has not made any announcement yet regarding the sixth sequel. Rumors say though that there's an issue regarding the budget. It's said that the game's cost is more expensive because of the purported VR support that will be coming along with it. Fans will have to stay tuned for more updates.
