'Grand Theft Auto 6' release date, features news: 'GTA6' to be set outside the US

Rumors have already begun surfacing on the internet regarding the next chapter in the "Grand Theft Auto" game series. It was rumored as reported in the Value Walk website that Rockstar, the company behind the successful GTA game series, is now in the preliminary stages of making the sixth "Grand Theft Auto" game, and TechRadar also reported that this upcoming game will be the biggest video game developed by Rockstar and will even change the history of the gaming industry due to the grand plans the studio has been cooking up.
The rumor for "Grand Theft Auto 6" also has it that the game will be named as "GTA 6: Tokyo." Though at this early, it is impossible to confirm any information regarding a game that still under development, even coming from the insiders. Though it was also reported in TechRadar that Rockstar had been planning a "Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo" for PlayStation 2 sometime in the early 2000's. This rumor has existed among the gamers for a long time but the Rockstar executives and designers never spoke to confirm or deny this plan.
It is interesting, however, that Rockstar will be developing a "Grand Theft Auto" game with the center of action in Japan, though it never became a reality in the past. It can be noted in the previous versions of "Grand Theft Auto" that they all had their settings within the United States territory only. If the rumor about the Tokyo setting of GTA 6 is true, this upcoming game will be the first in the series to feature an area outside the USA.
It will be quite a bad news for those who are anticipating a new "Grand Theft Auto" game as early as this year, because according to a report from the N4BB website, "Grand Theft Auto 6" will take a long time of development and planning and that the actual launching of the game will not happen until a few more years.
