A copycat villain will return to Gotham and target first-born children in a series of gruesome murders in Episode 6 of the hit TV crime drama series which airs today, Oct. 27, at 8/7c on Fox.

As to the identity of the villain, Hypable notes that he could be "The Goat" or the character "Goatboy" in the DC comics. No wonder the episode title is "Spirit of the Goat."

The episode's synopsis says that after the copycat killer's reappearance, rookie detective James Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie) and his corrupt partner Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) will have to deal with memories and decisions they made in the past.

The website io9 reveals that Bullock will undergo a sea change as viewers start regarding him with some sympathy. There is a going to be a good amount of interaction between Bullock and Gordon in Episode 6 as their relationship goes deeper.

As for Bruce Wayne, io9 notes that this episode will see the young Bruce Wayne (played by David Mazouz) having his best scene. Clips from the episode reveal that as the children of Gotham's elite are targeted by criminals, young Wayne feels the risk. His friend Alfred Pennyworth (Sean Pertwee) suggests that they should go to the lake house to cool off.

Tonight's episode is going to be centered on Bullock, and the happenings in his past that led to him to become the dirty cop he is now. There is also going to be a fair amount of time devoted to Bullock's flashbacks of working the original "Goat" case with his partner.

Elsewhere in the episode, ScienceFiction notes the MCU's investigation of Jim Gordon will proceed. Gordon is suspected of murdering Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot (played by Robin Lord Taylor). This investigation could result in Gordon being arrested next week as the investigators come upon a vagrant who claims to have seen what happened.
