A new photo of the adult Ivy Pepper a.k.a. Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha) has been released, and it appears that she will still keep her younger version's fashion sense when the third season of "Gotham" returns this Fall.

Speaking with TV Insider, executive producer John Stephens shared details on how they will address Ivy's casting change in the show. "One of the creatures that escaped from Indian Hill has the power to age people," he said. "Sometimes he uses it to kill people; other times he doesn't get to complete the process."

Even though the young Ivy (Clare Foley) and the future Catwoman became the best of friends, the tables will turn once they are all grown-up. In an interview with Zap2it, Geha explained that Ivy was very close to Selina because she is the only one she trusts. After losing her parents, Ivy shut herself from the society and Selina became her only friend. However, Ivy's transformation will ruin her friendship with Selina. "I think what happens when Ivy goes through this transformation is I think she perceives that Selina betrayed her by not protecting her in letting this happen," Geha hinted.

Additionally, the actress foresees a "power struggle" between the two female characters. She said that fans should look forward to when the two characters will meet after Ivy's transformation since there will be "some anger and resentment."

According to Stephens, Ivy's role in Bruce Wayne's (David Mazouz) life will also be a bit different. Instead of having a relationship with each other like the other stories related to "Batman," Ivy will become a sister-figure to Bruce. The EP said that they wanted to give Bruce a guide as he matures and he describes Ivy as a "woman who could bring him through that world."

"Gotham" season 3 premieres on Monday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT on FOX.
