'Gotham' season 3 spoilers: Penguin struggles to fulfill his promises to Gotham in episode 5; David Mazouz talks Bruce's dynamic with his doppleganger

Sacrifices will be made in the upcoming episode of Fox's hit action drama "Gotham" season 3.
Titled "Mad City: Anything for You," next week's episode will see the reign of Mayor Cobblepot a.k.a. Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) take a different turn. After Penguin's landslide election to the mayor's office, Gotham City is now in chaos. According to the official synopsis for episode 5, crime in the city is at an all-time high. The situation begins to get out of control, as Penguin struggles to fulfill his promises to the citizens. Meanwhile, Butch (Drew Powell) becomes deeply involved with the notorious Red Hood Gang and Bruce (David Mazouz) starts to investigate on where Ivy is staying.
Aside from probing on Ivy's whereabouts, Bruce will have to face his doppelganger once again. In a recent interview with Comic Book, Mazouz revealed that the two boys will meet again and deal with their personal issues with each other.
.".. there is an envious feeling for both," he told the media outlet. "The clone we still don't know much about him; he was born in a lab and he sees a kid looking exactly like him with all that stuff. All he knows is lab coats and experiments and now he sees Alfred, Selina, and a big house and he wants that. So I think this 'clone' is going to teach Bruce to use the things around him and I think Bruce is going to teach the clone... well, you'll see."
In this season's "Mad City: New Day Rising" episode, Bruce's double came into his own and cut his hair to free himself from Bruce's shadow. He also stole Alfred's (Sean Pertwee) car and took Selina (Carmen Bicondova) out on a date. When he was finally caught, the doppelganger promised to bruce that he will no longer return in his life ever again. The Court of Owls, however, seemed to have a different plan so they kidnapped him and was never seen since.
The third season of "Gotham" airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
