'Gotham' season 3 spoilers news: Fish Mooney returns for revenge; Jada Pinkett-Smith hints surprising first 2 episodes

After intentionally crashing the bus carrying Dr. Strange's experiment subjects, Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith) returns for revenge in the upcoming third season of Fox's "Gotham."
Known to be good at manipulating people, Fish will do everything in her power to hunt down her enemies and get revenge. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly's Spoiler Room, executive producer Ken Woodruff explained what lies ahead for Fish when she returns to Gotham City. "She definitely has a huge impact on Penguin," he said. "She's a really powerful person in this world, and Indian Hill only accentuated that. Her time in Indian Hill gave her this ability to exert control over people and for her. She couldn't ask for a better power. She's going to stir things up and cause some real problems for everyone involved."
Additionally, Fish will be sporting a slightly different look when season 3 returns. Pinkett-Smith recently caught up with Vibe and she hinted that the first two episodes of "Gotham" will feature scenes with Fish that will surprise fans."I think the first two episodes will have a lot of people saying, 'Oh snap!' We'll definitely be exceeding people's expectations and you'll see ... Fish's in it to win it," she teased.
Season 2 left off with Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) as he searched for the love of his life, Lee (Morena Baccarin). According to Woodruff, the upcoming installment will feature Gordon and Lee parting ways and it will lead to Gordon to "not be in the best of places" after he discovers a huge revelation. He will focus on a new position in the police department as a bounty hunter to temporarily forget his issues. However, despite the numerous villains he fights on the job, he continues to be his own worst adversary.
Tune in to the season 3 premiere of "Gotham" on Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
