The third season of "Gotham" will soon return to the small screen, and along with a new storyline, the show will also introduce new faces whom fans should look forward to.

James Carpinello was recently tapped by Fox to portray the role of Mario Falcone, the son of Gotham City's notorious mob boss Carmine "The Roman" Falcone. According to TV Line, Mario chose to live a life away from the criminal ways of his family which led him to become an ER doctor who came from an Ivy League university. He is characterized as "kind, honest and trustworthy, making him the black sheep of the Falcone clan." However, he will make things more difficult for Jim's (Ben McKenzie) personal life, particularly his relationship with his fiancee Lee (Morena Baccarin).

The previous season saw Jim heading out of the city to win back Lee's heart, but as Mario enters the picture, their tumultuous relationship will surely be more complicated than it already is.

Meanwhile, another new face will join the show to give life to a more mature Ivy Pepper. Clare Foley will now be replaced by "All My Children" star Maggi Geha now that the character has grown into a 19-year-old woman. After encountering a monster in Indian HIll, Ivy will transform into one of DC's most famous female villains Poison Ivy. She will later on use her powers and charm to get what she wants from Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz).

Drew Powell, who portrays Butch Gilzean recently revealed the titles of the first two episodes of season 3, and it seems like the show is off to a fiery start. The much-awaited premiere is titled "Better to reign in Hell..." while episode 2 is titled "Burn the Witch."
