Google Nexus 9 Review: Specs, Features, and Battery Life Details
The Google family of Android phones and tablets keeps getting bigger as the company unveiled only recently the newest addition to its "Nexus" line — the Nexus 9.
Manufactured by HTC, the tablet looks sturdy and easy on the hands with its metal frame and soft-touch back. Another impressive feature is the BoomSound technology, which HTC integrated to its front speakers. It makes the phone produce great sounds even without the use of external speakers.

It is also one of the very few gadgets that come loaded with the Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is the latest version of the Google mobile operating system.
The Nexus 9 has an NVIDIA Tegra K1 64-bit 2.3 GHz processor that comes with 192-core Kepler GPU. For its display, it boasts of an 8.9-inch LCD TFT with 2048 x 1536 pixels in a 4:3 aspect ratio.
Its exact dimensions are 228.25 x 153.68 x 7.95 mm, with a weight of 425 grams.
For connectivity, it has an 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and near-field communications (NFC).
The RAM is 2GB while the internal storage is at 16GB and 32GB, both non-expandable. The camera is at 8 megapixels for the rear and 1.6MP for the front. It may be a bit behind compared to other tablets, but let's not forget what tablets are used for anyway. Rarely are they for taking shots of candid moments but more often for video chats and other purposes.
Another impressive thing about the tablet is that it has a 6,700 mAh battery, with an estimated video playback of up to nine-and-a- half hours.
Given the impressive specifications and design, in the tablet industry, the Nexus 9 is truly one to beat.
