Google Nexus 7 2016 release date, specs rumors: Device will come out early as expected?
Rumors and speculations have surrounded the development of the upcoming Google Nexus 7 2016. Amidst contradicting reports with regard to its release date, new rumors have surfaced suggesting that the device will come out in May or June.
Reports from several tech media publications revealed that Google is planning to launched the highly anticipated device at the company's /O Developer's Conference. If rumors prove to be true, Google Nexus 7 2016 will start hitting the shelves by summer, which will start in June.
Although Google has yet to confirm these reports, fans are definitely excited about it. The device is said to be sporting impressive specs and according to some reports, it will be the best hand-held device Google has ever produced.
Mobipicker reported that Google has tapped the Taiwan based smartphone manufacturer, HTC, to manufacture the hardware of the device, which is rumored to be sporting a 5.1-inch display. It will also be running on a Snapdragon 820 processor from Qualcomm, along with its 4 GB RAM for users who like to multitask. The device will be preloaded with the latest Android N software, which people are curious about what it can bring to the table.
Meanwhile, there are also reports suggesting that the device will come with 3D Touch feature. Google Nexus 7 2016 is also reported to come in two variants – 65 GB internal storage capacity and 32 GB onboard storage.
The device will surely give its competitors a run for their money once it hits the market. According to some critics, the handheld device will surely dominate the market with its amazing features and specs. Not to mention, it will not be as expensive as those devices from Samsung and Apple.
