Golden State Warriors trade rumors 2016: May be looking to trade Green after off-court fiasco

Recent reports claim that Draymond Green may be heading out of the Golden State Warriors due to various off-court incidents that involved the said player.

These reports say that Green and the Warriors are likely in a strained relationship because of the different controversies Green finds himself in outside the basketball floor.

A big issue which involved Green is an assault case wherein he slapped a Michigan State University football player earlier in July. Green had to pay a $500 fine and a $60 restitution fee to settle the case.

Green was set to face some jail time but agreed to a plea deal in order to avoid spending some time in prison.

Currently, the player is involved with another issue wherein he reportedly sent out an indecent photo on his Snapchat. The photo was supposed to be sent as a private message.

The photo, showing Green's private area, was released to public as he accidentally posted the photo on his Snapchat's "My Story" feature instead of sending it to a specific and unidentified person.

While this has nothing to do with his performances on the court, the Warriors may see that Green is drawing too much negative attention to himself and to the franchise. It is likely that the Warriors will decide to part ways with the forward.

The Warriors are trying to bounce back from losing in the NBA Finals to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Having negative publicity is something they are trying to avoid, especially after the free agency storm that happened when Kevin Durant joined the team.

There is no doubt that Green is one of the best forwards in the game today. He has shown that he can do anything on the court, as proven by his statistics.

Also, he is undoubtedly the leader in the locker room and the voice of the team, but he should start to learn how to control his actions outside the court since the public has access to their personal lives whether they like it or not.
