Kratos from "God of War" recently made a cameo appearance in Sony's new live-action trailer featuring PlayStation 4 exclusive games.

Titled  "The King," the latest PlayStation commercial released by Sony shows numerous video game characters along with references to their games. Aside from Kratos, the video also includes Aloy from "Horizon: Zero Dawn." The end of the clip also includes an appearance from Spider-Man, who may not be a character owned by Sony, but is shown in an upcoming PS4 exclusive game from Insomniac titled "Spider-Man." Aside from the PS4 exclusives, the trailer also highlights other titles including "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," "Doom," and "Mass Effect: Andromeda."

On another note, Sony's new "God of War" game for PS4 will not show up at the PlayStation Experience event in December. This latest development was confirmed by game director Cory Barlog, who revealed via Twitter that they "won't be showing anything of the game at PSX." Barlog said he will be present at the event, but only to play games and hang out with PlayStation fans. In another Twitter post, Barlog assured anticipating fans that even though "God of War" will not be at PSX 2016, the wait will certainly be worth it once the game is ready to be launched. "I promise we will be showing something really awesome when it is ready," he continued.

This year's PlayStation Experience will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California from Dec. 3–4. To date, Sony has not yet announced a complete list of games that will be at the show or shared any information on what might be announced. The latest "God of War" game was announced at E3 2016 in June and later that month, Barlog discussed how the game was conceptualized and tease several improvements including its "more diverse emotional palette."
