'God Eater Online' release date, news: Mobile and console versions in the works

The mobile version of "God Eater Online" is reportedly in the works.
The announcement was made by general producer Yusuke Tomizama, general director Hiroshi Yoshimura, producer Kensho Monden and Asobimo director Hiroo Hasegawa.
The creators revealed in an interview with Weekly Famitsu that a free to play massive multiplayer online game will be the future of the franchise. Developers are hoping to get more people to play the game.
In the mobile version, players will still be able to hunt Aragamis with God Arcs. Gamers will be able to ask for help from other players; moreover, if they decide to lend a helping hand, they can instantly form a group to slay their enemies. Players can opt to evade their enemy with devour combos after using a single step.
The goal of the game is to attract a hundred people on a single field. Players need to reach a particular amount of skill points to level up. The producers say that players will not always be in the MMO playing field. Moreover, story mission can be played on single-player mode and it will usually take just about 10 minutes to play.
The game developers also revealed that all the God Arcs and guns in the current series will be available in the forthcoming mobile version. Compared to "God Eater Online," The mobile version is said to be easier to play since gamers will be able to move in and out of MMO mode with ease. They can also easily ask for help from other players.
In the interview, the creators also added that a console version of "God Eater" is currently in development. However, they couldn't reveal the details about the forthcoming video game. At the 2016 Tokyo Game Show event on Saturday, Sept. 17, the game developers will be unveiling a few important details. The Bandai Namco presentation will be at 3:30 p.m.
