'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers: The teens go to high school, Uncle Josh suffers a bad accident?

Disney's "Girl Meets World" season 3 premiere might still be a year away, but fans are already ecstatic to see Riley, Maya and Lucas embark on a new chapter in their lives. The forthcoming season will feature the teens as they go to high school, which will be a whole new environment for them. In an interview with The Wrap, showrunner Michael Jacobs shared his thoughts for the Disney show's third season.
When it comes to the teenage characters going to high school, Jacobs believe that it is a pivotal part of a teenager in real-life and that they will try to be as close to reality as they can. "What we're trying to do is give you very intriguing and compelling episodes, but never breaking the thread of truth. Yes, this honestly happens in high school. I think high school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately – if you do it right – wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life. But it's high school we remember. So these are the episodes I want you to remember and we're trying to do our best," Jacobs said.
Reports say that viewers will see more of Uncle Josh (Uriah Shelton) next season. His character had been written off after Shelton got in a bad accident, but the actor is already in good shape and he will surely be back for season 3 "Josh will be the center of some of those complications. Josh's inclusion in Season 3 will really be what we wanted to do it Season 2, which is nothing is easy. Nothing in life that is valuable is an easy road," he said. Rumor has it that Shelton's accident will reflect on his character. There are speculations that Josh will also suffer an accident which will gravely affect all the characters with close relations to him.
The third season of "Girl Meets World" is expected to return to TV screens sometime this year.
