'Girl Meets World' season 3 spoilers and updates: Riley tries to fit in by making an online alter ego, actress Ava Kolker weighs in on new season
Disney's hit family sitcom "Girl Meets World" recently kicked off its third season, and the upcoming episodes will see Riley and the rest of the gang dealing with more mature issues now that they have entered the complicated but fun world of high school.
The show's upcoming episode 3 will feature Riley as she tries to fit in — one of the many problems currently faced by teenagers. To feel comfortable in the new high school environment, she creates a new alter ego in her hopes to make a lot of friends. As noted in the show's spoiler site, Riley will make a fake online profile named "Jexica" to gain more popularity in high school. The gang will later discover that Riley made the online profile, and it remains to be seen how they will all react to what she did.
As seen in the promo clip for Friday's episode, Jexica's look seem to be anime-inspired, along with some steampunk elements. She also looks like a character from a video game which makes "Girl Meets Jexica" one of the most imaginative and wackiest episodes of the show by far. Viewers might see it as a breath of fresh air as the last few episodes of the previous season were quite emotional.
Ahead of the season 3 premiere last week, Ava Morgenstern's portrayer Ava Kolker spoke to Just Jared Jr. about what fans should expect in her character for this new season. "Season 3 has already been so amazing," the nine-year-old actress told Just Jared Jr. "You will see new sides of Ava that have never been seen in the first 2 seasons. I think you will be surprised as to what happens to her, and her relationships on the show."
