'Girl Meets World' season 3 news and spoilers: New promo clip features the gang unhappy with their first day in high school, cast members shoot new opening credits for the show

Disney channel's hit family sitcom "Girl Meets World" is nearing its season 3 premiere next month, and viewers are excited to see Riley and the rest of the gang embark on a new chapter in their lives — high school.
In a new promo clip exclusively from E! News, Riley, Maya and their friends seem unhappy with their first day of high school, and they are blaming Cory for it. The reason why they are upset remains to be seen, but it will definitely be one of the highlights of the premiere episode.
The transition from middle school to high school might be a bit tough for the group, but Miley's portrayer Sabrina Carpenter mentioned that it will make their bond even stronger. In an interview, the young actress said that they are already halfway done in filming the series. "We're in the middle of filming season three right now and already there have been some incredible storylines," Carpenter stated."It's all about finding what we can do to take things to the next step because as you grow, you go through more intense stations in life and that's what these kids are going through."
Meanwhile, the teenage cast members recently filmed for the show's new opening credits. According to Just Jared Jr., the cast paid homage to the original "Boy Meets World" series by re-creating its opening sequence, with Ben Savage as the director. "Not many people can say that they go back to their childhood," the actor/director said. "But I get to do that every day now. The whole day [shooting this] has been like deja vu to me and it means a lot to us."
"Girl Meets World" season 3 starts airing with a special two-part premiere. The first part will be on June 3, Friday at 8:30 p.m. EST while the second part airs June 5, Sunday at 8:30 p.m. EST on Disney channel.
