"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" has been confirmed to premiere later this year and a new Instagram photo for the upcoming revival series is currently making a stir online.

A seemingly innocent photo of the Gilmore table has been released via social media to promote the four-part reboot. The image shows a plate of Pop Tarts, an apple and a mug of coffee with a caption that reads: "Pop-Tart appetizers to hold us over 'till the pizza comes. And one apple." Fans of the series are well-aware that the mother and daughter tandem of Rory and Lorelai have an unhealthy diet. The apple in the newly-released photo caused fans to speculate that one of the Gilmore ladies is pregnant, judging by the unusual food pairing in the image.

On another note, an eagle-eyed fan pointed out that the caption in the promo image is almost identical to what Lorelai said in episode 13 of season 1 when Rory did a school project and went to a concert with her friends. Lorelai also hands Rory the same plate in the photo in the said episode.

During the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con panel, Rory's portrayer, Alexis Bledel shared her insights on the fans' growing interest for her character's romantic life. "I think it's kind of interesting that that's what people are excited about," she said. "There is so much more to her character. It's great when people focus on her ambition and her accomplishments."

Bledel added that Rory's former flames will be in the revival season and a lot of loose ends will be resolved, finally giving viewers the closure they needed. "All of her exes make an appearance, and it was great to work with all of them," the actress continued. "People's questions are answered, but we can't answer them today."

Catch the premiere of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" which airs on Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.
