'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' spoilers: Star teases special ending for Rory with an ex; EP talks elusive final 4 words

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is one of the most-awaited revival shows to hit Netflix this year, and a cast member recently teased that Rory (Alexis Bledel) will have a special ending with one of her exes.
While Rory was chasing her dreams of becoming a journalist, she dated three different men along the way. It all began with small-town sweetheart Dean (Jared Padalecki) but unfortunately, their love didn't last long. Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) entered the picture and had a good relationship with Rory, but they eventually broke up because of Jess' lack of emotional stability. Wealthy playboy Logan (Matt Czuchry) became Rory's third and final boyfriend in the series after he decided to settle down with her.
The seven-year run of "Gilmore Girls" still ended with Rory being single when she turned down Logan's marriage proposal to focus on her career. All her three exes are back for the revival season, but one of them will somehow stand out.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Czuchry hinted his character will have a special moment with Rory that fans should look forward to. "In terms of where things are at the end of these four chapters for Logan and Rory, it's pretty special. I'll say that," Czuchry said. "It's very, very special."
On another note, executive producer Amy Sherman-Palladino revealed earlier this week that she took several precautions to ensure that the elusive last four words of the series will remain under wraps. In an interview with TV Line, the EP said they never put the words down on paper. If someone has a script that has the final four words, it is just a placeholder and not the real line. "We shifted it around a lot, did a couple of rewrites," she explained. "It was a little silly. It was a little cloak and dagger."
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" premieres Friday, Nov. 25 on Netflix.
