'Gilmore Girls: A Year in Life' air date and spoilers: Series will spill more details about the characters' love lives
The Netflix revival of the comedy series "Gilmore Girls: A Year in Life" will reveal the details about the love stories of Rory (Alexis Bledel), Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Michel (Yanic Truesdale).
Truesdale, who portrays the French concierge Michel in the show, told E! News about what fans should expect from his character in the upcoming series.
"What I can say is that my character has always been very private and we've seen him a lot at work, and this time around we'll know more about who he is, who he's dating and his personal life," Truesdale told the news outlet. "So that's exciting to me!" he added.
The actor said that Michel has a quite surprising personal life. But he seemed pleased that he finally understood where his character was because it ultimately revealed more about him.
Fans can expect the original cast of the show to reprise their roles for the forthcoming series except for Edward Herrmann who passed away in 2014. Herrmann portrayed the Richard Gilmore, the head of the family. The actor's death will be incorporated in the show. Hence, the revival series will pick up four months after his passing so the characters have time to grieve.
The show will also introduce new characters. Tony award-winning actress Sutton Foster will be joining the cast. She will be portraying the role of an actress who will eventually star in a production called "Stars Hollow: The Musical." Moreover, "Independence Day" actress Mae Whitman will reportedly guest star in the upcoming film. However, details about her role in series haven't been revealed.
The show will have four 90-minute episodes. When "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" launches on Friday, Nov. 25, all episodes will be released at the same time.
