'Ghost Recon Wildlands' release date, news & update: Developers talk about open world feature

The development team of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" recently released four new trailers, showing the amount of detail they put in to make the entire game realistic.
Ubisoft recently revealed a video featuring lead game designer Dominic Butler. In the video, he talked about the freedom that players have in "Ghost Recon Wildlands." In particular, Butler revealed that players are free to fight a four-man drug war in whatever method they choose.
Moreover, eight lucky members of the Ghost Recon community were selected and invited to test the game in the production team's Paris studio. The select few were the first to discover the massive open world of "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands."
Red Storm Entertainment authenticity coordinator Travis Getz revealed that the developers intended to show the audience what it would be like to be a "covert American warfighter at the tip of the sphere of the modern battlefield."
Senior technical architect Greg Stelmack shared a few details about the gameplay of "Ghost Recon Wildlands." Stelmack said, "It is not about run and gun. It's about getting into position and reckoning your environment and deciding how you want to approach the problem."
Sources said the game has been given mixed reviews. To be specific, a few of those reviews claimed that the shooting and cover systems still need a bit of improvement. In describing the mechanics for "Ghost Recon Wildlands," a fan's review of the game described it as a run and gun shooter instead of a tactical third person shooter. The review was based on the mechanics of the game and not from an actual experience of playing it.
Only selected players have had the chance to play the game, so unless it will be available for public testing, fans should be wary about reviews.
The forthcoming open world tactical shooter game "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands" will be available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows on March 7, 2017.
