'Game of Thrones' Season 7 spoilers, plot news: Sansa Stark to clash with Jon Snow next season?

The seventh season of "Game of Thrones" is expected to feature the greatest battle for the Iron Throne, as the powerful houses of Westeros have reestablished themselves and were deemed worthy to dominate all of the Seven Kingdoms. One of the main highlights of Season 6 is the restoration of the House Stark into power, after years of being persecuted by its enemies. However, even though the Starks have restored itself to its former glory, there are hints that an internal conflict may get in the way.

It was a heart-warming scene when Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) was finally reunited with his half-brother Jon Snow (Kit Harington) after successfully escaping from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). This much-awaited Stark reunion turned out to be bittersweet, however, as the two had to suffer together to defeat the House Bolton that took over Winterfell, plus the psychopath Ramsay held their little brother Rickon (Art Parkinson) as hostage, but ultimately killing him.

Now that Ramsay and the Boltons were eradicated, and the Starks are finally the most powerful house in the North, the only problem now is who will be the rightful person to lead the house, and possibly attempt to seize more power to take over the Iron Throne.

Sophie Turner herself confirmed the rivalry at the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 last weekend, saying that Sansa might just be the more rightful heir to the throne as Ned Stark's legitimate son.

"I don't think she believes Jon Snow is capable of running Winterfell and the North," said Turner as quoted by Variety. "She thinks he does not have the intellect, the knowledge, the experience that she has and I concur."

To recall, Sansa asked Littlefinger/Peter Baelish's help to defeat Ramsay and reclaim Winterfell, although the latter might ask a huge payment in return, expressing his desire for Sansa. It also does not help that the leader of the Knights of the Vale does not bow down to Jon as the rightful King of the North.
