In the seventh season of HBO's TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin's novels, everyone is preparing for war. Before blood is shed, alliances will be made. If the rumors are true, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) will be riding south to form bonds with much needed allies.

After six seasons of being apart, characters will also be reunited. More importantly, characters who have never met are expected to cross paths in the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones."

The Independent recently translated an article posted by a Spanish publication which claimed that the new Lord of Winterfell will be meeting with an old acquaintance, Theon Greyjoy. Though the pair are rumored to meet, no one knows if the confrontation will be a success.

To recap, Theon took over Winterfell, killed its people, and threatened to kill Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and Rickon Stark (Art Parkinson). On the other hand, Theon also helped Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) escape the clutches of Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), which led her to reunite with Jon.

Furthermore, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) will finally reach Westeros in season 7, wherein she will meet a few of the main characters for the first time. The mother of dragons is expected to meet Brienne of Tarth and Davos Seaworth.

As previously reported, Daenerys will be making her way towards Dragonpit, an old building in King's Landing which used to house the Targaryens' dragons.

Recent leaks suggested that the Dragonpit will be filmed in Italica. The well-preserved ruins of a Roman city can be found in Sevilla, Spain. According to the leak, the public attraction will be closed to the community from Oct. 17 to Nov. 12. The production team will reportedly film the necessary scenes within that time.

Unlike the previous seasons which had 10 episodes, the seventh season is expected to feature only seven episodes. "Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to return to HBO in the summer of 2017.
