HBO's top-rating epic series "Game of Thrones" featured an interesting episode this week, as Daenerys pulled an old trick from the book. She finally succeeded in killing all the Khals who held her captive, which means that she will be the new head of the Dothraki tribe.

Showrunner Dan Weiss weighed in on the plot twist with Daenerys, saying how much "fun" they had coming up with the idea. "You know from the first season that, as you say, it's her 'superpower,' but this is not really that type of story. It's almost like the revelation she had when Jorah and Daario come to the rescue. She's like, 'Wait, I can do something none of these people can do and now that these two people can help me, I can use that to my advantage.' It's a very simple solution, a plan where you can use three people to take out dozens in a very dramatic way by just lighting things on fire and standing there," he said.

Meanwhile, the official synopsis for next week's episode titled "The Door" reads:

"Tyrion seeks a strange ally. Bran learns a great deal. Brienne goes on a mission. Arya is given a chance to prove herself."

As for other details in the plot, many viewers have noticed the possible chemistry between Brienne and Tormund. "I wasn't even sure that when I delivered the episode it was really clear," director Dan Sackheim told TV Guide. "It was like a fun little bit, but I wasn't sure it was really clear that he had these amorous feelings for Brienne. I'm always amazed what fans pick up."

Will fans see more interations between the two in future episodes? Sackheim said that Brienne does not seem interested, but there is still hope. "I think it was fairly one-sided, but that's OK," he explained. "There's nothing like a challenge. Men love a challenge."

Stay tuned for all-new episodes of "Game of Thrones" which airs every Sunday, 9 p.m. EST on HBO.
