While a few seconds might be too short to provide any substantive information, the new teaser for "Game of Thrones" that appeared and then subsequently disappeared was quickly snapped up and scrutinized for information by zealous fans of the show.

This was the second teaser trailer for "Game of Thrones" after the first one was released in November on the website Threeeyedraven.com. While the first teaser showed Arya (Maisie Williams) presumably entering the house of black and white in Braavos while carrying Needle. It also featured Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) even though he is not going to be part of the fifth season and will only reappear in the sixth.

The latest teaser featured a hazy shot of Sansa. Then it jumped to Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) who seemed to be lurking in the shadows. After which there was an image of a crying Weirwood tree, along with snow falling on the Iron Throne. Then the teaser cut to a shot of a man rowing a boat presumably through Braavos. Finally there was a scene with Cersei (Lena Headey) sitting behind a screen.

The latest teaser was released via Twitter. Text messages were also sent to the mobile devices of people who had subscribed for updates. Curiously, people only saw the teaser once on their mobile devices before it went offline and disappeared altogether. Then this message appeared on the screen: "Vision had come and gone."

Then an additional message followed: "More may come, keep watch for visions of the future."

However, a Reddit user managed to record the trailer while it played on his mobile device and it was then uploaded as a video to YouTube and other sites. Some fans expressed disappointment at the sneaky release of the trailer that was obviously programmed to disappear.

HBO still has not announced the official release date of "Game of Thrones" season 5, but many rumors suggest fans can expect the new season to air in Spring 2015.
