'Game of Thrones' Game Release Date: More Details Begin to Emerge
"Game of Thrones" from Telltale is an upcoming episodic game, the first instalment of which is going to be released this year. Telltale hasn't officially released any details about the game. But early this week a blog post provided an interesting outline of the game.

According to the blog post, the game is going to have six episodes which will be centered on members of House Forrester who swear loyalty to the Starks and also serve as bannermen to House Glover.
The game will start somewhere towards the end of Season 3 of the TV show "Game of Thrones" and finish before the events of Season 5. Notably it will draw materials mostly from the show and not from the book. However, House Forrester does find mention in the fifth book of the "A Song Of Ice and Fire" series titled "A Dance with Dragons."
The seat of House Forrester is the stronghold of Ironrath that was built several hundred years ago by Cedric Forrester and his three sons. The house and its sigil, or banner, bears testament to the strength of the Ironwood trees that surround it. Most of the house's wealth has come from a great forest of Ironwood trees that border the stronghold which in turn forms part of the Wolfswood.
House Whitehill is described as a bitter rival of House Forrester The resentment of House Whitehill stems from the fact that House Forrester controls most of the trade of Ironwood from the forest, which is used to build weapons and ships.
The game will feature five different characters. They will either be family members of House Forrester or those who serve them in some capacity. Entertainment Weekly notes that the game could see a rivalry between Whitehill and Forrester, resulting in a struggle for survival.
The first episode is titled "Iron from Ice." When it is released it will become available on a wide range of platforms which Entertainment Weekly states will be a major benefit for all Game of Thrones fans.
