'Fuller House' season 2 spoilers news: Scott Weinger, Juan Pablo di Pace promoted as series regulars, John Stamos to appear in three episodes only

Classic ABC sitcom reboot "Fuller House" has been confirmed to have a second season, and two actors were promoted as series regulars.
Juan Pablo di Pace, who portrays Kimmy's former husband Fernando, is now a regular cast member which means that he will have more screentime next season. As noted by Deadline, Di Pace is described as "inappropriately passionate" and quite the ladies man. He will do everything to reunite with his ex-wife, and he makes sure that he has a close relationship with their only daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas). Meanwhile, Scott Weinger also got promoted as a regular cast member. He plays the role of Steve Hale which he also portrayed in the original series.
Executive producer and actor John Stamos will still be present in the series, but despite the cancellation of his TV show "Grandfathered," there won't be a change in the number of episodes he will appear in. "I'm acting in three episodes," said Stamos. "Producing them all. And now that I have more time on my hand—I'm also doing craft service."
As for new faces, the series will introduce a new love interest for Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). She learned last season that she will not be able to have kids of her own, and series creator Jeff Franklin previously explained that it was really the plan for the character. "I didn't want Stephanie to have children," Franklin stated. "I wanted one of the three to not have kids. The backstory I created for her was that she's a free spirit, traveling the world. She's into her career and into having fun, and I thought this would be a really interesting aspect to that character — and touching."
Hopefully, the free-spirited middle Tanner sister will finally find her perfect match in Jimmy. the new male character is described as a "gifted singer-songwriter" and he has a different perspective of the world. In terms of physical attributes, Jimmy is "great-looking" but he also has a "touch on the weird side."
