'Fuller House' season 2 premiere date, updates: New holiday-themed full trailer released, Kimmy's brother Jimmy arrives

"Fuller House" is just a month away from its premiere, and Netflix recently released the first full trailer for the upcoming second season.
Halloween may be over, but the latest trailer from the hit spinoff sitcom will certainly get viewers in the holiday spirit. As seen in the video, the Tanner family are already gearing up for the holiday season, complete with the traditional mistletoe, Christmas decorations and some romance and drama. Fans are also in for a huge revelation when the characters realize that Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) is in a relationship with Kimmy's (Andrea Barber) brother Jimmy. "I just kissed a Gibbler?!" Stephanie says after learning that Jimmy and Kimmy are related. "Ew!"
"It's true: The older you get, the faster things seem to change," D.J. (Candace Cameron-Bure) narrates in the clip. "Life gets a lot more confusing, love gets a lot more complicated, and in this house, with this family, you never really know who's gonna walk through that front door." The next scene cuts to the return of some familiar faces from the original show, including Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin). They all come back to D.J.'s house to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Tanner-Fuller family.
At some point in the trailer, viewers will see D.J. finally decide about her true feelings for both Matt (John Brotherton) and Steve (Scott Weinger). A popular group will also guest star as the clip teased the cameo appearance by '80s boyband New Kids On The Block for D.J.'s birthday.
Netflix ordered a second season just days after "Fuller House" debuted on the streaming network. Season 1 reintroduced the Tanner family to viewers who might not have seen the original ABC comedy by Jeff Franklin. After being widowed, D.J. lets her sister Steph and best friend Kimmy help her raise her three sons. Occasionally, other familiar characters from the original show come by and make special appearances.
Catch the season 2 premiere of Netflix's "Fuller House" on Friday, December 9.
