Since Disney announced that it is planning to make a sequel to 2013's blockbuster animated film "Frozen," many fans have speculated that this year will see the beginning of production. Just recently, it was finally confirmed by "Frozen" star Kristen Bell that the cast is set to commence filming this 2016.

The actress who gave life to the role of Princess Anna in the movie has made the confirmation while she was promoting her new film with Melissa McCarthy, "The Boss." Mirror UK reported the Bell was as much as excited as the fans of the Academy Award-winning Disney film. Aside from the marvelous visual treat and fresh story, fans can also expect a bunch of new songs. The original movies' soundtrack has become very popular around the world, with the song "Let it Go" by Idina Menzel being a global hit and was translated to different languages.

Bell also noted that the writers have already finished writing the script for "Frozen 2," but a few revisions are still being done.

"They've just written it, and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we shall be recording this month," the actress said.

She also added that Disney, along with the whole staff and crew that created "Frozen," is doing everything to make another quality movie with the sequel. Fans can expect something new in the highly anticipated movie that they will surely love. Bell noted that it took some time for Disney to do the necessary preparations just to make sure that the continuation of the successful movie will be perfect.

"The story is great and they exude quality, and what I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out. And that's why it took them so long for them to even announce that we're doing a second one."

While limited information about "Frozen 2" is available, fans have been heavily speculating that Jack Frost from "Rise of the Guardians" will make an appearance in the sequel as Elsa's love interest. Jack has the same icy powers as Elsa, and even when "Frozen" was still showing in theaters, fans have been shipping the two characters. An online petition addressed to Disney was made to convince the studio that the two characters are a perfect couple.
