Seven terror suspects were reportedly arrested this week following a French police raid in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis.

The raid, which took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning, involved French police storming an apartment building in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, reportedly attempting to find two terror suspects involved in last Friday's terror attack that killed 129 in Paris.

According to the New York Times, authorities were able to remove three suspects from the apartment building, despite one woman detonating a suicide bomb vest upon their entry.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said in a statement that the raid conducted early Wednesday morning had successfully prevented further attacks and murders from taking place.

According to Reuters, a local resident of Saint-Denis, Jawad Ben Dow, told the media outlet that the raid carried out early this morning took place in his apartment.

Dow denies knowing that those people staying in his apartment were linked to terrorism.

"Someone asked me to put two people up for three days and I did them a favor, it's normal. I don't know where they came from I don't know anything. If I'd known do you think I'd have done it?" Dow asked the media outlet.

During a speech to the upper and lower houses of French Parliament, French President Francoise Hollande said this week that the country is "at war with jihadist terrorism which is a threat to the entire world."

Hollande has also called on an international coalition dedicated to defeating the terrorist group, calling on countries like the U.S. and Russia to unite to defeat the Islamic State.
