'Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location' release date news update: The upcoming spinoff is not going to have an earlier launch date

Fans of "Five Nights at Freddy's" have been hoping that Scott Cawthon , the game creator, will finally announce the upcoming spinoff of the indie point-and-click survival horror video game. Although Cawthon did not reveal the title as of yet, the game creator teased fans of the possible release date. He also posted on his website, Scott Games, another "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" teaser, along with a quote: "There was never just one."
During a question and answer discussion on the Steam forum, Cawthon said that the upcoming game will not be released even if his team will wrap up the development before the expected date.
"No more early release dates. Instead, from now on, if I finish the game early then I'll spend the extra time polishing the game and adding features," Cawthon wrote.
When Cawthon and his team released the latest title, "Five Nights at Freddy's World," many fans complained about several bugs and glitches, along with missing features. Apparently, the team does not want any of that to happen again; hence, their decision to roll out the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" after polishing it.
Meanwhile, Cawthon also posted that his team will no longer provide updates and details about their latest project to keep fans guessing about what is in store for them once the title hits the shelves.
"I would enjoy posting more of the development process, but I fear it would take some of the fun and mystery out of the game when it's released," he explained on another Steam thread. "I'm planning on including a lot more material in the extras about the development process for this game."
Although there is no significant information regarding the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location," fans have continued to spread numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet. On a positive note, this will also serve as a good implication that fans are excited for the game to come out.
