Fans are a little disappointed when they realized that the highly anticipated release of "Final Fantasy XV" will only happen on console platforms. Many fans of the video game were hoping that Square Enix will roll out a PC version of the title. However, fans should not lose hope as of the moment; the game developer has mentioned that they did not rule out the idea of making a version of the game for PC users. It may take time before they can roll out a new version because their main focus right now is to make sure the release for PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One version goes smoothly.

Apparently, porting the game into the PC is not just an easy task to do, according to the game developer. During an interview with JeuxVideo, Hajime Tabata, the director of "Final Fantasy XV," said that a PC version may take some time to create because it is a complex process.

"I have in mind a version of "Final Fantasy XV" that is more technically developed," the game director explained. "This version could incorporate things that we were forced to abandon because of the limitations of home consoles. With the PC, this would be an opportunity to release a version far superior in terms of quality and tech. That said, if we choose to develop this project, the development will start from scratch by doing research of what would be the best technology to use. It might not be a simple port of the console version."

The PC version is not certain, as of the moment. Fans will have to enjoy the game on a console platform until Square Enix announces the development of the PC version.

"Final Fantasy XV" is already scheduled for a worldwide release on September 30, 2016 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
